Meredith Russell
Interior Designer

From an early age, Meredith would walk into a room, rearrange furniture and accessories, or even change paint colors. Her passion for design was quite clear and embraced by her and those around her. Meredith studied Interior Design at Kendall Collage of Art and Design. She took a brief hiatus from design after graduation, flying around the world as a flight attendant where she was able to explorer different countries, architecture and esthetics.

Yearning to pursue her love for design, Meredith worked at the famed Merchandise Mart in Chicago, later moving back “home” to Michigan to be closer to family. She dedicated several years on Kitchen and Bath Design, working for a custom cabinetry company where she met and worked along side Amy Darooge. She is excited to now be on the Villa Decor team designing homes in the East Grand Rapids area. Meredith loves the character and detail of old homes and creates calming interiors with a focus on texture and comfort. Her focus at Villa Décor is to work with clients to bring to life their vision, or provide a myriad of suggestions to create something a client never thought possible.
